Nigerias mens national basketball team, the DTigers, has qualified for the quarterfinals of AfroBasket 2025.Nigeria closed out their Group D campaign of the 2025 AfroBasket on a high and impressive note with a gripping 9990 victory over archrivals Cameroon on Sunday, August 17, at the Pavilho Multiusos de Luanda, Angola. The win over Cameroon means they finish with a 3-0 record. Nigeria started the campaign with a 77-59 defeat of Madagascar and an 87-66 victory over defending champions, Tunisia, before yesterdays masterclass against Cameroon.
